Community: a photo evening…

Last night was an awful busy one, full of photo-ness.
It began at 3:00 p.m. with a “coffee-date” at the local Borders Books, talking with photographer, Richard Taylor ( http://lifejourneyphoto.com ), about business, technology and they way the photo-market has been behaving lately. It’s been too long since Rich and I had a chat and the time flew by.
After that, I was over to Cardinal Stritch University’s ( http://stritch.edu ) Communications and Fine Arts Building to meet with Megan Vanderwyst, a student there, to discuss her photos from a semester spent in Ecuador. She’s planning an exhibition and needed some feedback on the images she’s considering.

Now, about 6:00 p.m., I spent a few minutes talking with a past student about his Canon SD750 and why it was behaving the way it was. I gave him a few suggestions and then rushed over to a different room in the CFA, to teach the third of three classes on “Basic Digital P+S Techniques.” That class went well and by 9:30 I was done and ready to go home.
