Again, some friends and I went out to try our hands at sports photography. This time we met out at the Uihlein Indoor Soccer Park to try and photograph some soccer matches. As with the track meet, this was a challenging situation, as the playing field is smaller than an outdoor field and the players sprint at full speed for most of the match. It’s very difficult to keep them in focus as they move so fast. Then, with the relatively low light of the park, it is difficult to get a shutter speed suitable for stopping the intense action. So, slow shutter speeds and fast subjects make for a real “catch as can” sort of situation. I am pretty happy though with some of my efforts. Hope you are too! Let me know what you think!
