Here’s some pages from the most recent issue of MyMidwest–the in-flight publication for Midwest Airlines. The editors sent me out on a couple real neat assignments.
The first was relatively easy in that the assignment came to me. MyMidwest arranged to have 4 pizzas delivered to my house, and then I photographed them as one mondo-amalgamation pizza! The pizzas were from Classic Slice, Transfer Pizzeria and Cafe , Rustico Pizzeria, and Marchese’s Olive Pit. After the photo was made, I then spent about two days eating nothing but pizza. They were EXCELLENT. 🙂
The other assignment “Retro Metro” and involved me spending time at 3 different South Side bars-Koz’s Minibowl (too old-school for a website), Bryant’s, and the Holler House (too old school for a website too, but at least there’s a Wiki page). I probably spent close to 8 hours over 5-6 evenings in these bars. It was a great assignment and showed me some parts of Milwaukee I hadn’t seen before.
