Today I had the good fortune to have breakfast with Mark Avery. I could probably talk many, many minutes about all the reasons I think Mr. Avery is an excellent human, but attention spans being what they are, I will share with you just a few reasons why I count myself lucky to know this gentleman.
1. He’s nice, sincere, thoughtful and positive (that’s 4 reasons right there, I know);
2. I’ve known him around 12 years or so now, and I’m still learning things about him. Avery’s got more layers than an onion;
3. He’s a very talented photographer–apparent by how long he’s been working in this business and by the swell images in his portfolio.
4. He laughs and smiles with great frequency.
