I had the opportunity last week to donate my services to nifty local non-profit Milwaukee Riverkeeper. The Riverkeeper, a member of the Waterkeeper Alliance, is devoted to keeping Milwaukeeans informed about the state of our rivers in the metro-Milwaukee area and to advocating to keep those rivers healthy and vibrant. The Riverkeeper held its 3rd Annual Bash, featuring a silent auction, food and drinks at Barnacle Bud’s (in Bay View) and then tours on the river, via the Iroquois. The river tour was narrated by Cheryl Nenn, telling guests what the Riverkeeper has been up to and how it’s been improving the quality of Milwaukee’s rivers. Learn more about the Riverkeeper HERE.
