Just a few snap-shots to share from this past Friday’s Gallery Night. Though Rachel and I didn’t get to many shows, we did get to the two we really wanted to see: David Burnett’s “Soul Rebel” at the VP Photogallery and “Exposed 2.0” at the Light Ideas Gallery.
The first two shots are from the group show at Light Ideas; the next three are from Burnett’s show (that’s him signing a book for a fan!). There’s also a photo of Milwaukee photographer, Tom Ferdebar. Many people will recognize his name, as he ran a significant Milwaukee commercial studio for many years.
This past weekend, Rachel and I also made another visit to the Milwaukee Winter Farmers’ Market. Got some great home-made bread and jams, some veggies and learned about a meat/poultry CSA. This was pretty cool, as most CSAs are usually fruit-veggie-based. We had a real nice chat with Rufus of the Keewaydin Farms, of Viola. Very cool stuff!
