Hello Folks,
As many of you know, Cardinal Stritch University is no longer offering non-credit adult education classes at its campus. This is definitely a shame for all the photo enthusiasts in the area. Thankfully though, the Stritch Art Department is a bit more interested in keeping their B+W Photolab in use.
The Art Department and I have worked out a plan to conduct a “darkroom workshop” this Fall. Troy Freund Photography is offering a “guided B+W wet darkroom” at Cardinal Stritch on Wednesdays from Sept 22 through November 23rd, 6:30-9:30p. I will be present for all the classes to offer advice and support. Participants will be able to process film and print photos. Stritch will be providing the facilities and chemistry. Participants will have to provide their own printing papers.
The cost of this workshop will be a minor $125, payable to Troy Freund. If you’d like to sign up for this workshop, please contact me as soon as possible. I would like to get at least 6 participants. Also, please forward this message to anyone who might be interested; please help spread the word!
