Gravity Marketing is a unique agency in Milwaukee. I’ve written about them a few times before, as they’ve made big moves to be a community-builder among Milwaukee creatives. The most significant of those efforts is their hosting of a free coffeehouse/meeting place for creatives! I go there a few times a month to enjoy the nice setting and to get out of my home-office for a spell. In this coffeehouse, Gravity, who is also a member of the “buy local” group Our Milwaukee, hosts a “coffee-tasting networking event” with Stone Creek Coffee (another OM member!).
Now, Gravity has a big event coming up—an awareness-raising event for some pretty special work that is being done in Milwaukee. Below is all the official information that Chelsey Berg, of Gravity shared with me:
There’s an exciting event that will be taking place downtown Milwaukee on February 17th. The event,theIDEAraiser: A Global Journey for Cancer Research is from 5-9pm on Thursday, February 17th and is taking place in the Historic Third Ward at 325 N. Plankinton Avenue.

It will be a great time and its all for a great cause- raising awareness for break through cancer research happening right here in Milwaukee at Aurora St. Luke’s. Cancer touches the lives of just about everyone and research is the way to envision a future without it being so prominent. Along with the entertainment, there will be a variety of informational areas where you will be able to learn about what the research means to you, to Milwaukee, to your company, and to the future treatment of cancer in interactive ways.
