Though I’ve been something of a runner since the high school cross country team, I’ve never been a very good runner. Still, I find pleasure in it. Sometimes, when I go running, I make it a self-portrait project, which is what I did today! Today I put in 8.3 miles in 1:38, which made me rather proud. I ran along the Milwaukee River, making a big lap from Hampton Avenue down to the North Avenue Pedestrian Bridge and back again, running on the river’s west side as I headed south, and the east side as I came back north.
