Milwaukee Likemind (Twitter #tag: #MKElikemind) will present a talk by photographer, Troy Freund, on Friday, June 17, 2011 at 7:00 a.m. The talk will take place at Bucketworks, 706 S. 5th St., in Milwaukee’s National Avenue neighborhood. It is open to the public with no RSVP required.
“Seeking Balance as a Creative”
Troy Freund, an independent photographer from Milwaukee,WI, will talk about his experiences in photography and how that has led him to his current direction as a photo-professional. His presentation will feature photos from throughout his 10 years as an independent creative, showing his personal, pro bono and professional work.
Troy Freund is a Milwaukee photographer, educator, and photo-advocate. He has done work for many commercial and editorial clients. He has taught adult education-classes for the past 13 years and has been working with grade-school and high-school students for the past 2 years. Troy has served on the board of Artists Working in Education and currently serves on the board of “buy local” group Local First Milwaukee. He is a member of Editorial Photographers and also of Green America. He volunteers at the Literacy Services of WI.
