This past Thursday was the monthly “Third Thursday” meet-up of Local First Milwaukee (LFM). Local First Milwaukee is a business alliance that I am a member of; we work hard to educate local consumers about the value that comes from supporting locally-owned and small businesses. LFM also serves as a great networking group for local businesses to find other business services that they need (we have members in credit-card processing, cleaning supplies, credit unions, commercial photography, consulting, and other services). Once a month we have a “members only” networking meeting at a member’s business so that we can learn more about it.
This month’s meet-up was hosted by Fein Brothers, the amazing restaurant and kitchen supply store, and design house, located on N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. If you love your kitchen, or have an excited chef on your Christmas shopping list, I bet you could find something in this store that would be appreciated!
On this morning, we had a great variety of business owners attend for the networking and education. 🙂 Present were:
Milwaukee Pulse, the Fast Foodie,
Educators Credit Union, Stephanie Bartz Photography,
WI Cheesemasters, Gravity Marketing,
Open Leaf Excursions, Laacke & Joys,
Nalani Marketing, the Cabinetmaker,
Next Step Goals, Milwaukee Bicycleworks (website to come soon!),
Swipeworks, and myself–Troy Freund Photography
