Another good Local First Milwaukee “Third Thursday” networking event was held at Northern Ground recently. Northern Ground is a new local agency that is “focused on user interfaces and interactive tools for brands and business.” And they have a BEAUTIFUL office space in downtown Milwaukee!
The best part of every Third Thursday is in the introductions. Everyone realizes that networking can sometimes seem daunting, especially when you don’t know many of the people present. At Third Thursday, we always have lots of great conversations, but also take time to make introductions, giving everyone 30 seconds to say who they are and share any news about their biz. It’s a great way to figure out who is all present and who you might like to make a connection with!
Present at this event were: The Milwaukee Mustard Company (who just released new cranberry and whiskey mustards), Creative Employment Opportunities, E’clat Enterprises, WMSE, The Milwaukee Kayak Company, P&N Promotions, Sweet P’s Pantry, Lakefront Brewery, Coast Inn Bikes, BiltRite Furniture (who has a “USA-Made Sale” going on now), McAdams Graphics, the Shepherd Express, Dane County Buy Local, Clear Pay, and our hosts, Northern Ground.
