On March 4, the MKE Comicbook Meet-up happened at Anodyne Coffee in the Walker’s Point neighborhood. The night’s topic was “YOUR Fantastic Four” – people were encouraged to bring four comic books that are real special to them, books they wish more people read, or books that are both! It made for a great discussion and what was so exciting was that for the eight people present, there were no duplicate choices of comicbooks. 🙂
There were books from the Big Two (Marvel and DC), as well as from indie publishers. There were traditional superhero books and videogame-based books, books that were 30-40 years old, and ones that came out just recently. It really was a good time!
