This week I got to have a real neat running experience! Dean Karnazes, the “Ultramarathon Man” paid a visit to Performance Running Outfitters in Shorewood to promote the North Face Endurance Challenge Series. People could say “hello” and get an autographed poster from Dean, but even more exciting to me, was that the crowd could go and run a 5K with Dean! Rachel Goeden, a fellow runner, and founder of the women’s-only running group, We Run This, met me there and we had an excellent time running alongside Dean and all these other enthusiasts. Thank YOU to Dean for visiting Milwaukee, and thank you Performance Running, for bringing Dean here!
