New ideas for combining disparate interests of mine crop up and this is one I’m pretty darn excited about. I like to run, though I’m not that good at it. I like reading comicbooks, and while I’m passionate about it, I’m not as passionate as some fans are out there. I’m taking both these interests, though, and combining them for Milwaukee’s first-ever, family-friendly, only-one-rule “MKE COSPLAY 5k” on November 23!
This is a great opportunity to:
1. demonstrate some fitness by running or walking a 5k,
2. show off your passion for geek-culture by doing so while in costume,
3. and help support those in need, by bring a donation for Community Advocates.
