This September’s meetup was our annual “Cull Your Collection Sale” to benefit the ComicBook Legal Defense Fund. The CBLDF is an important organization, fighting for the rights of self-expression and freedom of speech. You can see a lot about the significant work they do HERE.
When Don and I host this sale, all participants are able to sell comicbooks they want to get rid of, and there are only two rules – all comics are only $.20/$4 for trades, and all the money raised goes to the CBLDF. This year, we raised about $200 (I bought a bunch more after posting that pic)! We had another Don-written trivia-contest, with the highest, and lowest, scores winning prizes from Lost World of Wonders, the nicest comicbook store in the Milwaukee-area!
