The Racine Art Museum is a neat museum, whose reputation is largely built on their large collection of contemporary crafts. They host exhibitions such as “Go For Baroque: Oppulence and Excess in Contemporary Art”, “Watercolor Wisconsin”, “The Annual PEEPS Exhibition”, and “Contemporary Art to Wear”, among many others!
My involvement with the museum has only been for a few years now, but is a collaboration I certainly enjoy! I have been lucky enough to photography their fundraiser gala, and as it happened in October, it had a costume theme – this year it was “Steampunk-Pirate”. I was quite impressed by everyone’s costumes – many people went all out for the event, and their support of the museum!
